Veneers
Veneers are thin hand sculpted pieces of dental porcelain. They are molded and shaped on a model made from an impression of your mouth. They fit over your teeth and are often use as an alternative to caps (crowns) for severely discolored teeth. They can also eliminate unsightly gaps and spaces between teeth and can magically "straighten" crooked teeth.
Crowns make from Advanced Dental Ceramics
If crowns are required, rest assured that only the latest, state-of-the-art materials are used. Crowns fit over the recently repaired tooth and are a naturally looking alternative to silver or gold caps. Today's dental ceramics give crowns an incredible long lasting quality and life-like beauty.
Composites (White Fillings)
A composite is a tooth colored material that is used in place of silver amalgams. There are often indistinguishable from natural teeth. They are several advantages you gain with composites:
Mercury free- While silver amalgams are perfectly safe, some prefer an alternative
Less tooth is removed - Much more healthy tooth is preserved when composites are used. Composites strengthen teeth by forming a bond that reinforces the tooth from every angle.
Bonding
Bonding is a quick conservative procedure to restore chips/cracks, close gaps and reshape teeth. Bonding is performed in the dental office in a single visit making it more affordable than porcelain veneers.
Intraoral Camera
The intraoral camera looks like a small wand. Inside is a tiny but very powerful camera. This camera takes a continuous motion picture of the inside of the mouth, magnifies it up to 40 times and feeds it to a video display. This allows both the doctor and patient to see the teeth in more detail than ever before. Learn more about the intraoral camera.
